Job summary

Hershey Lodge is seeking a part-time lifeguard to ensure pool safety and guest assistance. You will enforce rules, respond to emergencies, monitor equipment, and maintain a clean pool area. Training is provided through Ellis & Assoc. Lifeguard program.

Flexible hours include days, weekends, and holidays with 16 hours minimum per week. Prior lifeguarding is a plus; strong English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to swim 100 yards using front crawl or breaststroke.
• Must be able to feet first surface dive and retrieve a 10 lb. brick from 8 ft depth.
• Must be able to tread water for 1 minute without using arms.
• Must be able to exit pool safely without stairs or ladders.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing and enforcing pool and attraction rules and safety regulations.
• Recognizing and responding to aquatic emergencies.
• Monitoring equipment and supplies.
• Maintaining work area and environment.
• Participating in weekly lifeguard in-service training.
