Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Professional Liability underwriting experience with solid risk selection and portfolio management.
• Established broker network within the professional liability marketplace with ability to grow profitable relationships.
• Strong analytical and negotiating skills to assess exposures, pricing, and coverage structures.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and manage a portfolio of Miscellaneous and Construction Professional Liability risks with focus on profitability and portfolio quality.
• Develop and nurture strong relationships with retail and wholesale broker partners to generate quality submissions.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with underwriting strategy and appetite.
• Analyze risk exposures, pricing adequacy, coverage structures, and policy terms to support underwriting decisions.
• Negotiate terms with brokers and clients while maintaining underwriting discipline and risk selection standards.
• Collaborate with claims, actuarial, and underwriting colleagues to monitor portfolio performance.
• Monitor market trends and emerging developments within the professional liability landscape.
• Represent Swiss Re Corporate Solutions in broker meetings, industry events, and client engagements.
