Qualifications

• 5+ years of Professional Liability underwriting experience.
• Established broker network within the professional liability marketplace.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills for complex risk exposures.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholders.
• Experience with miscellaneous and construction professional liability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and manage a portfolio of Miscellaneous and Construction Professional Liability risks with a focus on profitability and portfolio quality.
• Develop and nurture strong broker partnerships to generate quality submissions.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with Swiss Re's underwriting strategy.
• Analyze risk exposures, pricing adequacy, and coverage structures to support sound decisions.
• Negotiate terms with brokers and clients while maintaining underwriting discipline.
• Collaborate with claims, actuarial, and underwriting teams to monitor portfolio performance.
• Monitor market trends and represent Swiss Re in broker meetings and industry events.
