Job summary

Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Washington is seeking a Training Specialist to identify training needs, design and tailor instructor-led and online trainings, and manage How We Work Operations Orientation for staff across DC and surrounding counties.

You will work with internal instructors to ensure high-quality delivery, manage the LMS, track training outcomes, and develop professional development content and protocols. A Bachelor's degree and 3 years' experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in learning and development, curriculum development, instructional design, or human capital in a social services or behavioral health setting.
• Experience with a learning management system preferred.
• Experience teaching or public speaking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and/or revise instructor-led and online trainings.
• Collaborate with instructors and subject matter experts to develop course content.
• Facilitate in-person and virtual training classes, including LMS administration.
• Coordinate and record evaluation of efficacy of professional development programs.
• Lead internal marketing of PD training and events.
• Maintain training documentation and LMS records and scheduling.
