Job summary

Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Washington is seeking a Learning and Development professional to design and deliver instructor-led and online trainings. You will work with internal instructors to ensure high-quality delivery and manage content, materials, and LMS registrations.

The role involves coordinating quarterly and annual training needs, evaluating program effectiveness, and supporting professional development initiatives within the department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in learning and development, curriculum development, instructional design, or human capital.
• Experience with a learning management system preferred.
• Experience teaching or public speaking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and revise instructor-led and online trainings.
• Facilitate in-person and virtual training classes including CPR/FA, CPI, and orientation.
• Create and manage training calendars and LMS registrations.
• Coordinate evaluation of training programs and report results.
• Lead internal instructor cohort and partner with the Director of Professional Development.
