Job summary

Columbia Hospitality, Inc. seeks a dedicated janitorial professional to perform cleaning duties across assigned facilities. You will dust, sanitize, mop, and vacuum, maintain restrooms, handle trash, and ensure public areas stay spotless.

The role also includes outdoor area upkeep and responding to routine custodial requests with a focus on safety and efficiency. Applicants should be able to follow written and verbal instructions, communicate with team members, and operate standard janitorial

Qualifications

• Basic operations of janitorial work.
• Basic methods, materials and equipment used in janitorial work.
• Basic safe work practices.
• The use of toxic and non-toxic chemicals (per MSDS sheets).

Responsibilities

• Perform high dusting of surfaces above shoulder height around rooms.
• Sanitize and spot-clean surfaces below shoulder height.
• Clean bathrooms with germicidal solution, including toilets and dispensers.
• Empty trash and replace liners as needed.
• Dust, mop, and vacuum floors, and clean under furniture.
• Maintain grounds outside and clean common areas and walkways.
• Clean food court tables, remove trash, sanitize areas, and manage trays.
• Sanitize floors using germicidal solution and mop behind furniture.
• Inspect rooms for cleanliness and arrange furniture properly.
• Provide courteous customer interactions and report any issues to supervision.
