Job summary

Columbia Hospitality, Inc. is seeking a dependable janitor to perform a wide range of cleaning tasks across assigned facilities, ensuring all areas are clean, sanitary, and orderly for staff and guests.

You will do high dusting, sanitizing, bathroom cleaning, trash removal, floor care, outdoor area upkeep, and routine checks of common areas; maintain safety, report issues, and provide courteous service.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic janitorial operations and methods.
• Familiarity with safety practices and MSDS-compliant chemical handling.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• High dusting surfaces above shoulder height.
• Sanitize surfaces and wipe fingerprints/smudges.
• Bathroom cleaning in specified order and toilet sanitation.
• Empty trash and replace liners.
• Dust mop and vacuum under furniture; clean floors.
• Maintain outdoor grounds and remove debris.
• Clean public areas and glass surfaces.
• Sanitize floors throughout rooms.
• Inspect rooms and report issues; ensure courteous customer service.
