Qualifications

• Basic operations of janitorial work.
• Basic methods, materials and equipment used in janitorial work.
• Basic safe work practices.
• The use of toxic and non-toxic chemicals (per MSDS sheets).

Responsibilities

• High dusting of surfaces above shoulder height around the room.
• Sanitizing surfaces below shoulder height with germicidal solution.
• Bathroom cleaning in prescribed order and stock checks.
• Empty trash cans and replace liners as needed.
• Floor dusting or vacuuming with proper technique.
• Outside grounds cleaning and litter removal.
• Dust mop main hallways and keep glass clean.
• Spot clean for spills and sanitize tables in the food court.
• Floor sanitizing following proper sequence.
• Inspect room and ensure furniture placement and cleanliness.
• Assist supervisor by performing other duties as assigned.
