LADD – Living Alternatives for the Developmentally Disabled in Paw Paw, Michigan is seeking a Professional Care Technician (Direct Care Worker) to provide compassionate support to individuals with developmental and medical disabilities. The role involves assisting with daily living activities, personal care, meals, and medication passing to help residents live as independently and safely as possible.
The position offers a 2nd shift with 16–24 hours per week and rotating weekends.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical examination.
- Availability to work rotating weekends.
- HIPAA and HITECH confidentiality compliance.
Responsabilités
- Provide compassionate support to individuals with developmental and medical disabilities to help them live independently and safely.
- Assist with daily living activities such as personal care and meals.
- Administer or pass medications as directed and monitor health needs.
- Foster personal growth, build meaningful relationships, and make a positive impact on the people supported.
