Alger Heights Senior Living Facility in Grand Rapids is seeking a compassionate Resident Aide to support residents with daily living activities, monitor health conditions, administer medications as trained, and ensure a safe, clean environment.

You will participate in orientation, training, and ongoing development; weekend availability is required; benefits include paid time off, growth opportunities, and insurance options for full-time staff.

Formación

• Must be 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• Experience working with the elderly is preferred.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.
• Every other weekend is required.
• Reliable transportation.
• Valid driver’s license or ID.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to arrive on time for every shift.

Responsabilidades

• Provide assistance to residents with daily living activities (transfers, bathing, dressing, toileting, walking).
• Maintain cleanliness of the environment and perform light housekeeping as needed.
• Follow safety and health standards, including infection control procedures.
• Monitor residents for changes and communicate with supervisor.
• Assist with repositioning according to schedule.
• Document medications accurately.
