Job summary

Jobtailor in Houston, TX is seeking a Production Worker to operate production machinery, inspect products for quality, monitor equipment, and assist with material handling in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

You will count finished products, mark parts, load and unload, clean and lubricate equipment, and record production data while following safety standards. This role requires mechanical aptitude and ability to read metrology instruments.

Qualifications

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED certificate and/or industrial experience
• Mechanical ability
• Reading various dimensional metrology instruments
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, and quality control
• Ability to use forklifts, hammers, power hoists, hand jacks, pipe jacks, platform ladders, screwdrivers, material-hoisting slings, measuring tapes, hand tools, measuring instruments, power tools such as saws, mechanical machines, paint systems, and assembly operations
• Ability to work in normal manufacturing-environment conditions
