Description

We are seeking dependable, safety-focused Production Associates to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for operating production equipment, visually inspecting products for quality, handling materials, and helping the team meet daily production goals.

  • Operate, monitor, and clean production machinery and equipment.
  • Visually inspect products and materials for quality and report issues.
  • Troubleshoot basic production or equipment issues.
  • Package, move, organize, and label materials and finished products.
  • Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment as trained and authorized.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Complete required production records and documentation.
  • Follow all safety procedures, work instructions, and company policies.
  • Work as part of a team to meet production, quality, and efficiency goals.

Requirements

  • Basic mechanical aptitude and math skills.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Dependable with strong attention to detail.
  • Must be willing and able to work 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule (2-2-3), including every other weekend.
  • Previous manufacturing, production, machine operation, or material-handling experience preferred.
  • Work full shifts in areas where temperatures may exceed 100°F during summer months.
  • Stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Frequently climb, bend, reach, squat, twist, push, and pull.
  • Lift and carry materials weighing approximately 50+ lbs.
  • Work around manufacturing machinery, noise, dust, and other production conditions.
  • Maintaining physical endurance throughout extended shifts.
  • Follow all safety procedures.
  • Wear required PPE (steel toe shoes, safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, etc.) and maintain attention and productivity throughout duration of shift.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to operate production machinery.
  • Visual acuity, including the ability to distinguish colors as required for product inspection and safe operation.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Basic math skills for measuring and recording production data.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as in a team environment.

Saws, routers, grinders, extruders manual and power hand tools, forklifts, micrometers, tape measures, scales, air hoses, air wands, calculators, computers, overhead vacuum lifts, overhead lift equipment.
