- Perform routine production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, aircraft systems, equipment, and accessories using manual operations
- Solve routine problems of limited scope and complexity by following established practices and procedures
- Apply a substantial and thorough understanding of the job
- Work 100% onsite at one of the listed location options
- Participate in evaluation and qualification of materials, suppliers, equipment, technology, and processes to ensure conformance and reproducibility requirements are met
- Work assigned shifts, including Shift 2
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications (e.g., blueprint/schematic reading, specification, change, design)
- 1 or more years of experience working with specialized tools (preferred)
- Knowledge of assembly and production processes, manufacturing capabilities data, engineering drawings, change memos, wiring diagrams and schematics, functional tests, and supplier data (preferred)
- Ability to differentiate production/manufacturing processes and requirements from in-service procedures and requirements (preferred)
- Knowledge of materials, suppliers, equipment, technology, and process evaluation and qualification (preferred)
- Knowledge of FOD prevention, material handling, safety, calibration requirements, and ESD (preferred)
- Ability to work any shift as assigned
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time
- Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements as a U.S. Person
