Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States is seeking a Production Machine Operator to set up equipment, tool, and parameterization according to work orders and run the program. You will monitor production status, read blueprints, and follow documented procedures while addressing deviations.

Qualifications

Job description

• Prepare machines for the production program by tooling and parametrization according to work order information
• Check production status within and in between each production sequence and take action in case of deviations
• Perform operations while controlling machine/production processes and follow documented procedures and processes
• Inspect manufactured parts, identify defects, discard defective parts, and follow proper protocol
• Support maintenance in repair, prevention of downtime, and inspection of machines
• Follow all safety and production rules and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and write clear communication in English
• Ability to operate complex machinery in a manufacturing environment
• Good visual acuity
• Ability to lift medium-heavy objects if required
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience operating machines in a manufacturing environment
• Experience working with power tools
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
