Job summary

Aerotek in Mount Clemens, MI is seeking a General Laborer for various shop floor tasks including parts inspection, loading, deburring, and packing. Training will cover multiple roles before assignment; there are 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts and contract-to-hire potential.

Must be comfortable with lifting up to 30 lbs, perform repetitive tasks, and operate basic machines. The facility is onsite with safety rules and regular orientation times.

Job Title: General Labor

Job Description

Join our team as a General Laborer, where you will be involved in various tasks such as inspecting parts with a digital gage, working in the washer area for loading and unloading parts, and working at the deburr table. You will also be responsible for loading and packing parts. You will be trained on multiple jobs before being assigned to a specific area. We have openings on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd as well. This is currently hiring and interviewing as soon as possible.

Work Environment

The facility is loud, and steel toe boots are required. Cell phones are not allowed on the floor. Our facility is very clean, equipped with fans for the summer months to keep cool. Orientation times are at 7am for the first shift and 2:30pm for the second shift.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mount Clemens, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.50 - $17.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
