This is a 2nd shift contract role onsite. The role requires lifting 50–75 lbs and standing for extended periods, with weekly pay and benefits available.

IMMEDIATE HIRING FOR GENERAL PRODUCTION WORKER

Job Description

This role focuses on assembling components according to detailed work instructions and operating production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will handle parts and materials, load and unload tanks from paint systems, and use a variety of hand and power tools while consistently following established safety, quality, and work standards.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and production components precisely following written work instructions and standard operating procedures.

• Load and unload tanks and parts from paint systems, ensuring correct handling and placement of materials.

• Operate manual and automated hand tools safely and efficiently to complete assembly and production tasks.

• Set up and operate production equipment and machinery in accordance with safety and quality guidelines.

• Perform general labor and production line duties, including material handling and basic machine operation.

• Use tape measures and other basic measuring tools to verify part dimensions and ensure product accuracy.

• Follow all safety protocols, quality standards, and work procedures to maintain a safe and efficient work area.

• Maintain a clean and organized work station and support continuous improvement efforts on the production floor.

• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to meet production goals and schedules.

• Adhere to attendance and performance expectations required for eligibility for bonuses and pay increases.

Seeking candidates with manufacturing/production experience for an assembly role. Responsibilities include assembling parts, operating hand and power tools, loading/unloading materials, basic machine operation, and using measuring tools. Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs, stand for extended periods, follow safety procedures, and work 2nd shift (up to 1:30 AM).

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Ashland City, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
