Volt in Joliet, IL is hiring for an Assembly Worker to assemble and process quality products safely and accurately in a timely manner.

The position requires standing for 8 hours, lifting up to 40 pounds, reading a tape measure, bending and moving materials, and working in different temperatures. Pay rate is $17.00 per hour, Hours: M-F 6:00am - 2:30pm.

• Bending, pushing, pulling or moving materials.

Responsabilités

• Assemble and/or process quality products safely and accurately in a timely manner
• Concentrates efforts on assembling wood boxes according to customer specifications
• Operate equipment necessary to manufacture customer product. Equipment can include nail guns, staplers, hammer, band cutters, bander, pallet jack, and tape measure
• Regular and reliable attendance
• Monitor quality of product being produced and notifies the lead or supervisor of any issues
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with verbal and written procedures, rules, and regulations throughout shift
• Be able to fill out your productivity sheet and shipping tag legibly

As an Assembly Worker you will:

• Assemble and/or process quality products safely and accurately in a timely manner
• Concentrates efforts on assembling wood boxes according to customer specifications
