Job Summary:

Places steel, strand, and concrete in bed as necessary for the production of a concrete member. Strips and cleans bed for the next pour.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Follow all safety and quality rules and processes to ensure a safe working environment and high-quality products.
  • Receive instructions, roll torches, steel, and tool buggies to bed, and unload materials.
  • Uncover bed, remove forms, clean and oil bed, and prepare for the next pour.
  • Lay out rebar, plates, loops, channels, insulations, etc.
  • Pull strand, thread bulkheads, block outs, frames, and cut strands with grinder.
  • Place and tie rebar, wires, and form and side plates.
  • Prepare for pour by blowing out bed with air hose and receiving pouring tools.
  • Receive concrete, hook up air hoses, and vibrate concrete with appropriate tools.
  • Place insulation and C ties, clean work area, and store tools properly.
Qualifications:

Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months of related experience or training; or equivalent combination.
