Production Worker – Brevard – Up to $17

PrideStaff is recruiting a Production Worker on 1st Shift for a Warehouse in Brevard

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs production tasks, efficiently, in assigned contract areas including, but not limited to, palletizing and depalletizing, case packing, case sealing, blending, bag hook up, rework, sanitation tasks, inspections, and hand assembly.

• Maintain compliance with GMP’s and hygiene standards

• Ability to comprehend instructions, verbal and written, and accept feedback.

• Follow safety policies, procedures, and practices

• Effectively communicate production needs, such as material requests, quality defects, foreign material, or food safety issues to appropriate peers and/or area supervisors.

• Ability to stand for an entire shift, lift, twist, bend, stoop, push, and carry up to 15 pounds.

• Posses visual acuity to assess quality standards and material integrity

• Some production tasks may require the ability to lift and carry 50pounds, work at heights aboveground level, perform functions that require manual dexterity, ability to read, write, and possess basic math skills, comprehension of weights and weight calculations, percentages, number sequences, and distinguish between color codes

• Ability to keep work area clean and organized

Required Skills/Abilities:

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent

• Prior Warehouse experience preferred

• Forklift experience preferred

Shift: 1st Shift 6a-4:30p

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $17.00 - $17.00
