Summary:

We are seeking a reliable, motivated production manager to join our growing organization. In this position, you will utilize your experience, leadership and communication skills to direct team members. You must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while preserving a positive attitude and providing excellent customer service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal, by supervising, organizing, directing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operation goals
  • Establish and facilitate departmental procedures which in turn enhance the production and efficiency of the department, while supporting safety policies and procedures
  • Implement, oversee and control the production schedule
  • Meet regularly with warehouse leads to review, analyze, and develop actionable plans for productivity and loss prevention
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Based on the above essential functions this job is considered to be a safety sensitive job function.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily activities of the warehouse, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service

Qualifications:

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, strong computer skills, be self-motivated, safety conscious, detail oriented, able to multi-task, ambitious, and have a leader and coaching mentality.
  • Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Education & Experience:

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • A degree in business management would be advantageous.
  • Must have at least 2 years of supervisory experience or equivalent combination of education/work experience required
  • Proficient knowledge of warehouse procedure and policy
