Job summary

Syensqo is seeking a Production Unit Manager to lead site operations, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient production and shipment of quality products. You will drive HSE excellence and ensure OSHA and Syensqo standards compliance while optimizing resources to improve performance and reduce costs.

As an agent of change, you will build accountability, drive execution to meet KPI targets, and lead Operations supervisory and support personnel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in an industrial facility with supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and regulatory standards.
• Experience with safety management systems and risk analysis methodologies.
• Unionized workforce management experience is a plus.
• Ability to interact positively and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.

• Lead and manage site operations for safe, reliable production and shipment.
• Drive HSE excellence and ensure OSHA and Syensqo standards compliance.
• Optimize departmental resources to improve performance, strengthen operating discipline, and reduce costs.
• Build accountability across the workforce and drive execution to meet target KPIs.
• Lead and develop Operations supervisory and support personnel.
• Establish or refine systems to instill Operating Discipline and proactive problem prevention.
• Participate in audits and enforce safety rules.
