Job summary

CNH Industrial is seeking a manufacturing supervisor in Indiana, USA to plan, organize, and lead people, materials, equipment and processes to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals. The role applies lean manufacturing tools to drive continuous improvement in safety, cost, and efficiency.

The position requires a Bachelor's or Associate degree with supervisory manufacturing experience, or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Associate degree with 3 years supervisory/manufacturing experience, or HS diploma with 5 years supervisory/manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, clean work environment by adhering to CNH safety programs and policies.
• Supervise area for abnormalities in man, material, machine, and method and act promptly.
• Supervise hourly production workers to meet efficiency targets and implement corrective actions when needed.
• Produce quality parts and finished goods meeting established quality goals.
• Administer operating budgets and monitor results to achieve departmental objectives.
• Maintain inventory levels and implement corrective actions when required.
• Pursue continuous improvement to enhance safety, efficiency, quality and costs.
• Support HR activities such as employee selection, pay administration, training, performance reviews, discipline, and policy administration.
• Coordinate maintenance of equipment to meet work schedule.
• Establish and facilitate time standards with Manufacturing Engineering to maintain fair standards.
• Implement company strategies and process changes at the operational level.
• Lead Kaizens and Continuous Improvement projects.
