Job summary

HRforGrowth is assisting in sourcing an Operations Leader for a manufacturing plant in Indiana. The role oversees Receiving, Production, Shipping, and Inventory Control with financial accountability for performance and cost management.

The candidate will coach Supervisors, drive process improvements, manage labor planning, and ensure safety and ISO compliance while partnering with client services to meet objectives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years in operations, warehouse, distribution, or pick/pack/ship.
• Minimum 4 years of manufacturing/warehouse supervision.
• Evidence of supervisory leadership, coaching, and process improvement.
• Working knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) required.
• Demonstrated cross-departmental partnership to achieve goals.

Responsibilities

• Ensure cost-efficient use of resources and ongoing process improvement.
• Lead and coach plant Supervisors and staff.
• Participate in budgeting and implement cost-control measures.
• Plan labor and scheduling to match demand.
• Direct workflow to meet productivity, quality, and safety standards.
• Manage project efforts for new client integrations.
• Prepare regular reports for management and stakeholders.
• Maintain ISO processes and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure safety compliance with MNOSHA and OSHA.
