Job description

Job Summary:

The tooling technician’s main role will be to perform maintenance on production tooling, including inspecting the diameter of bushings and replacing them if necessary, mold buffing/taping, mold repair (metal and composite), and replacing casters. Additional tasks may include troubleshooting mechanical systems, creating specialty tooling, and repairing broken production equipment. The technician must wear proper protective equipment during appropriate tasks and comply with all relevant paperwork, such as work instructions.

Schedule Options:

• Monday-Thursday 3:00pm - 1:30am (4x10 schedule): 10% differential
• OR
• Thursday-Sunday 5:00am - 3:30pm (4x10 schedule): 12% differential
• OR
• Friday-Monday 5:00am - 3:30pm (4x10 schedule): 12% differential

Job Duties:

• Good dexterity
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems
• Mechanical experience
• Proficiency with hand tools
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good attention to detail

Preferred Skills (Not Required):

• Basic MIG welding skills
