Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. in Seguin, Texas is seeking a Production Technician III for the first shift to join our Power Generation Operation back half assembly.

You will align, assemble, test, and troubleshoot engines and generators, while supporting other technicians and contributing to continuous improvement. The role requires at least 6 months of manufacturing experience or a relevant degree, mechanical aptitude, teamwork, and a safety-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• 6 months manufacturing experience or relevant college degree.
• Mechanical aptitude and safety consciousness.
• Ability to read, write, and interpret English documents.
• Intermediate computer skills, including MS Office.
• Experience with SOPs or standard work is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and teamwork mindset.

Responsibilities

• Align and secure engine components per work instructions.
• Install gaskets, seals, wiring, hoses, and covers.
• Ensure parts are defect-free and perform quality checks.
• Assist continuous improvement and root-cause activities.
• Train and support new teammates as needed.
• Adhere to SOPs and area instructions.
