Job summary

The Production Technician II role at US1079 Buckhead Meat Midwest, Inc.-Ohio Division supports the operations team with troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on production equipment across the facility. The role emphasizes 5S and Lean practices, safety, and continuous improvement.

You will learn leading maintenance practices to increase equipment safety, uptime, and performance, with responsibilities spanning diagnostic work and collaboration with OEM technicians.

Qualifications

• Three plus years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems including hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Familiar with food processing environments and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Supports safety policies and proper procedures (OSHA, NEC, NFPA, USDA, FDA).
• Perform preventive/predictive maintenance on production equipment to improve quality and reliability.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues; may include facility repairs.
• Log work orders in CMMS and track metrics (labor, MTTR, MTBF, part usage).
• Collaborate with OEM technicians during rebuilds, line moves, and installations.
