Job summary

Buckhead & Newport Meat and Seafood in College Park, GA is hiring a Production Technician I to support the operations team. You will troubleshoot equipment issues, perform preventive maintenance, and participate in 5S and Lean activities across the facility with limited supervision.

You will learn industry-leading maintenance practices, work with Mechanics II/III, and help manage planned work and workflows in a fast-paced environment while logging all activities in the CMMS.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting required.
• Experience with preventive/predictive maintenance and basic repairs.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and safe work practices.
• Hands-on troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Support safety policies and follow safe work practices on the production floor.
• Inspect production and process utility equipment to improve reliability and quality.
• Assist with diagnosing and repairing equipment deficiencies under supervision.
• Learn and apply RCA/FMA tools to improve equipment uptime.
• Read and interpret manuals and work orders for maintenance tasks.
• Record maintenance activities and metrics in CMMS systems.
