Job summary
Buckhead & Newport Meat and Seafood in Fremont, CA is seeking a Production Technician II to support the operations team. You will troubleshoot equipment issues and perform preventive maintenance on production equipment across the facility with limited supervision.
Participate in 5S and Lean activities, contributing to safety and efficiency improvements. You will learn industry-leading maintenance practices to improve equipment safety, uptime, and performance while collaborating with OEM
Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing setting with predictive and preventive maintenance.
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Familiarity with reading manuals, work orders and CMMS entries.
Responsibilities
- Support safety policies in line with OSHA, USDA, FDA, and other standards.
- Perform inspections and preventive/predictive maintenance on production equipment.
- Diagnose and repair equipment deficiencies across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Collaborate with OEM technicians during rebuilds, line moves, and emergency repairs.
- Manage and log work orders in CMMS, track uptime and maintenance metrics.
