Job summary

Portland Bottling Company, the Pacific Northwest’s leading contract packer, is hiring production operators in Clackamas, OR. You will run and monitor production equipment, maintain quality and safety, and ensure efficient line performance. The schedule is 6am to 6:30pm on a 2-2-3 rotation with every other weekend off.

Starting wage is $21 per hour, with higher wages possible for experienced candidates. We offer 3 weeks of PTO, 9 floating holidays, and a comprehensive benefits package including

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic written communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Food & Beverage experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of sanitation, GMP and allergen handling processes a plus.
  • Prior experience with production paperwork a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for performing all tasks associated with production equipment in a safe manner, keeping quality and efficiency in mind.
  • Observe machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of filled or packaged products.
  • Regulate machine flow, speed, or temperature.
  • Stop or resets machines when malfunctions occur.
  • Troubleshoot and report all deviations from standard parameters. Work with the team to determine root cause of the problem.
  • Ensure all products are manufactured safely by following Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Complete required production paperwork accurately.
  • Maintain punctual, regular, and predictable attendance.
  • Work collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.

Job Summary
