Job summary

Portland Bottling Company is seeking production workers for a full-time role in Clackamas, OR. Starting at $21 per hour with higher wages for experienced candidates. Schedule is 6am–6:30pm on a 2-2-3 rotation, with every other weekend off.

3 weeks of PTO and 9 floating holidays per year accompany a benefits package. Responsibilities include safe operation of production equipment, monitoring quality, adjusting flow and temperature, and maintaining GMP compliance.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic written communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Food & Beverage experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of sanitation, GMP and allergen handling processes a plus.
  • Prior experience with production paperwork a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for performing all tasks associated with production equipment in a safe manner, keeping quality and efficiency in mind.
  • Observe machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of filled or packaged products.
  • Regulate machine flow, speed, or temperature.
  • Stop or resets machines when malfunctions occur.
  • Troubleshoot and report all deviations from standard parameters. Work with the team to determine root cause of the problem.
  • Ensure all products are manufactured safely by following Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Complete required production paperwork accurately.
  • Maintain punctual, regular, and predictable attendance.
  • Work collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
