Job summary

Lindsay Windows is seeking quality-minded individuals to join our production area as a Production Technician. You will work in a manufacturing setting using hand tools, pneumatic tools, saw operations, and tape measures to assemble high-quality windows and doors.

You must stand through the shift, lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, and meet line standards. Starting pay is $17.00 per hour and varies with experience; opportunities for advancement are available within a long-standing industry leader.

Qualifications

• Standing for the entire shift.
• Lift 35 lbs frequently during the day.
• Lift 50 lbs occasionally during the day.
• Reach overhead occasionally.
• Bend at the waist and pivot frequently.
• Fine hand manipulation movements frequently.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand and pneumatic tools and saws as part of daily production.
• Handle window components weighing 35–55 lbs and position them for assembly.
• Meet production goals by following posted line standards.
• Self-inspect 100% of parts moving through the workstation.
• Follow company safety procedures and foster a safe work environment for all teammates.

Lindsay Windows is looking for quality minded individuals to work in our production area as a Production Technician!

Your responsibilities

• Using hand tools, pneumatic tools, saw operations, tape measurer, etc.
• Lifting/moving/ placing window components that are 35-55 lbs.
• Meet production goals by posted line standards.
• Self-inspect 100% of parts (finished and unfinished) moving through your workstation.
• Follow company safety procedures and policies and encourage a safe work environment for all team members.

Requirements Within This Position

• Stand for the entire shift
• Lift and transfer 35Ibs frequently throughout the course of the day
• Lift and transfer 50Ibs occasionally throughout the course of the day
• Reach overhead occasionally
• Bend at the waist and pivot from the waist frequently
• Use fine hand manipulation movements frequently

Your Compensation

• Starting at $17.00 per hour
• Pay is Dependent on Experience (DOE)
