Job summary

Lindsay Windows is seeking a production technician to join our production area. You will use hand tools and a tape measure to assemble and handling window components weighing 35–55 lbs, and must meet line-based production goals.

Responsibilities include self-inspection of parts, following safety procedures, and collaborating with team members to maintain a safe, efficient work environment. A $500 hiring bonus after 30 days is offered.

Qualifications

• Stand for the entire shift.
• Lift and transfer 35 lbs frequently.
• Lift and transfer 50 lbs occasionally.
• Reach overhead occasionally.
• Bend and pivot from the waist to work.
• Read and communicate in English.

Your Responsibilities:

• Using hand tools and tape measure


• Lifting/moving/ placing window components that are 35-55 lbs.


• Meet production goals by posted line standards.


• Self-inspect 100% of parts (finished and unfinished) moving through your workstation.


• Follow company safety procedures and policies and encourage a safe work environment for all team members.

Your Requirements Within This Position:

• Stand for the entire shift


• Lift and transfer 35Ibs frequently throughout the course of the day


• Lift and transfer 50Ibs occasionally throughout the course of the day


• Reach overhead occasionally


• Bend at the waist and pivot from the waist frequently


• Use fine hand manipulation movements frequently


• Can read and communicate in English
