Job summary

Lightweight Manufacturing, a Seaman Corporation Company, is hiring a Production Team Member for the second shift in our on-site facility. You will learn all aspects of the production process alongside seasoned operators, including handling materials, supporting machine workflows, and operating RF equipment.

We offer hands-on training, a comprehensive benefits package starting day one, a $500 sign-on bonus after 90 days and after one year, plus opportunities for overtime and career advancement.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• HS Diploma/GED required.
• Eligible to work in the United States (We are an E-Verify participant).
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English.
• Basic knowledge of measurements; metric system a plus.
• Strong attendance and reliability.
• Ability to work as a part of a team.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn all aspects of the production process alongside experienced operators.
• Handle and prepare materials (moving, cutting, inspecting, packing).
• Support machine operation and workflow.
• Learn blueprint reading and operate RF equipment independently.

Now Hiring: Full-Time Production Team Members (Second Shift)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m. (40 hrs/week; hours may vary)
Location: On‑site manufacturing role

What You’ll Do

New team members will work alongside experienced machine operators to learn all aspects of the production process, including:

• Handling and preparing materials (moving, cutting, inspecting, packing)
• Supporting machine operation and workflow
• Learning blueprint reading and gaining the skills needed to operate RF equipment independently
• Maintaining a safe work environment by following all established safety procedures

• This job involves physical labor. Employees work as a team to move large/heavy fabric panels. The role involves physical tasks such as bending, standing, working on the floor, handling large/heavy objects, talking, and hearing. Associates will occasionally be required to sit, stoop, kneel, or reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, and color vision.
