  • Willingness to work 12-hour shifts and some weekend hours.

  • Follow standardized work procedures and work sequences for each process.
  • Work with the team to improve standardized processes and methods, identify waste, eliminate waste methodically, and standardize improved processes and methods.
  • Take direct responsibility for duties within the assigned work area.
  • Complete working documentation, records and reports as requested.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Proactively and reactively resolve process abnormalities.
  • Perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.

  • Perform a wide range of manufacturing tasks, including machining parts and making and inspecting sub-assemblies and final assemblies of roller and slide guide products
  • Perform work in a manufacturing environment emphasizing teamwork, safety, quality, productivity and cost improvements
  • Follow standardized work procedures and work sequences for each process
  • Work with the team to improve standardized processes and methods, identify waste, eliminate waste methodically, and standardize improved processes and methods
  • Take direct responsibility for duties within the assigned work area
  • Complete working documentation, records and reports as requested
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Proactively and reactively resolve process abnormalities

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 year of manufacturing experience or equivalent mechanical training/aptitude/experience
  • Ability to use hand and power tools
  • Ability to communicate and work well with others in a group environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work in cooperation with other team members towards building a sense of teamwork
  • Desire to proactively identify and make suggestions for continuous process improvements
  • Basic math skills and measurement skills
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM including some weekend hours
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • 1 to 3 years of experience operating CNC machinery preferred
  • Experience in reading blueprints and using applicable measurement tools and gauges such as calipers and micrometers preferred
  • Experience deburring parts preferred
  • Requires frequent walking or standing up to 85% of the day, up to 12 hours a day
  • Requires repetitive hand motion 100% of the time
  • Lifting and pushing 45% of the time
  • Must be able to lift 25-50 lbs. and up to 70 lbs. with assistance
  • Hearing and visual acuity are required for this job 100% of the time
  • Speaking is required 85% of the time
