Job summary

Jobtailor in Delaware is seeking a quality-focused inspector to perform in-process inspections and final checks to ensure products meet specifications.

You will use micrometers and other measuring tools, operate company systems for work orders and schedules, and support multiple departments in maintaining traceability and quality throughout production.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Less than 1 year of experience in a quality manufacturing environment.
• Ability to use micrometers and various measuring and quality control instruments.
• Ability to operate a computer to obtain work orders, schedules, and inventory information.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections to meet customer specifications.
• Communicate with various departments and participate in team activities to meet production goals.
• Communicate production issues and take daily direction from the department supervisor.
• Assist with final inspection to ensure products meet customer specifications.
• Utilize micrometers and other measuring and quality control instruments.

• Record in-process inspections and testing to maintain product traceability and run documentation.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of education
