Job summary

Smurfit Westrock hires for a Production Team Member role at our Lancaster, OH plant. The position requires operating equipment, performing quality checks, and keeping a safe, organized workspace. Training will lead to shift assignment with potential overtime and weekend work.

Production Team Member

Location: 1290 Campground Road, Lancaster, OH 43130

1st pay increase after 90 day probation period.

Shift Diff: $0.35/hr - 2nd Shift, $0.20.hr - 3rd Shift

Union Plant. Must be flexible to work any shift. Once training is completed, the team will let you know which shift you will go to.

The opportunity:

• Primary duties include safely performing a wide range of tasks that include stacking corrugated product, conducting quality checks, material set-up, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Ability to operate various manufacturing equipment, follow specific direction, operate power hand tools, and other duties as assigned.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Ability to read a tape measure and have basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to work safely and comply with all safety regulations.
• Ability to lift, push or pull 50lbs, navigate stairs, stand, walk, bend, and kneel throughout the entire shift.
• Required to work daily overtime and weekend work.

The starting pay range is $20 - $23 per hour, depending on your role, level, and location. The benefits for this role may include short-term bonus incentive, health, dental and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts or health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and paid sick leave as required by applicable state/local law, 5 days of paid vacation, and 7 days of paid holidays, subject to annual change. Your actual pay will be based on your work location and other factors, such as your skills, experience, and education.
