Job summary

Smurfit Westrock in Aston, PA is seeking a Production Team Member to support fast-paced manufacturing, perform quality checks, set up materials, and maintain a clean, safe workspace.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, be able to stand for long periods, and be willing to work any shift with potential overtime; training and advancement opportunities are offered with competitive pay.

• Corrugated box manufacturing experience a plus; familiarity with Flexo, Gluers, Rotaries, Clamp Trucks and Forklifts is a plus.

• This position requires standing, walking, lifting, bending, and crouching.

The opportunity:

Primary job duties will include but not limited to safely perform a wide range of tasks supporting the manufacturing areas, production, conducting quality checks, material set-up, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to working safe, demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment, a strong desire to learn manufacturing processes and operating complex machinery, and have a desire to advance within the company.

• Starting payrate - $25.11/hr, after pro bationary period pay will increase based on the position you move into

• Shift Available: You must be able to work any shift including OT during your probationary period, once the probationary period is completed you can bid on your shift reference.

• The Production Worker is normally the third team member assigned to a machine in the Production Department
• Being able to support operators on different machinery while assisting different areas as needed
• Some of the duties of this position include, but are not limited to: ensuring that all tooling for the machine is on hand, assisting the machine operator and assistant operator with setups and jam-ups, ensuring that the area surrounding the machine is kept clean of debris and spills
