Job summary

Tenneco is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee production teams, ensure safety and quality compliance, and drive delivery of customer orders. You will manage resources, coordinate shift activities, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, 1 year of leadership experience in manufacturing, and strong problem-solving, planning, and communication skills. Familiarity with SAP and lean methods is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 1 year leadership experience in a manufacturing environment required.
• Familiarity with problem-solving methods (A3, 8D, 5Why).
• Lean principles knowledge and ISO/IATF awareness preferred.
• Basic SAP and scrap reporting knowledge preferred.
• Strong planning, analysis and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assure the availability and efficient assignment of resources.
• Ensure correct execution of safety and quality processes.
• Communicate priorities and tasks clearly.
• Lead and communicate escalation processes.
• Achieve the production plan targets.
• Coordinate activities for gaps in production consumables.
• Meet established KPIs and goals.
• Initiate and lead corrective actions for deviations.
• Improve multiskill/training matrices in area.
• Follow up on defined systems and production reports.
• Manage shift schedules, meetings, and priorities.
• Lead support areas as needed.
