Smithfield is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a shift on the manufacturing floor. You will supervise production employees, enforce safety and quality standards, and drive efficiency while maintaining cost controls.

The role demands strong leadership, hands-on coaching, and continuous improvement across operations. You will collaborate with Operations Managers to optimize yields and line performance, while ensuring compliance with HACCP and USDA regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field, with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience leading/training staff or managing a process/project.
• Strong communication and analytical skills for problem solving.

Responsabilités

• Oversee production on shift and guide hourly staff to meet safety and quality standards.
• Lead monthly line meetings and daily floor walkthroughs for alignment and improvement.
• Monitor yields, efficiencies, and variances to optimize workflows and costs.
• Ensure HACCP/USDA compliance and drive safety audits and training.
• Coordinate maintenance and setup of equipment for peak performance.
