Job summary

ROM Manufacturing is seeking a Production Team Leader to coordinate daily manufacturing activities and drive safety, quality, and productivity on the shift. You will lead a team to meet goals while fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.

The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills, with 2–4+ years in manufacturing and a willingness to mentor staff. This is an on-site position based in Missouri.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical certification a plus.
• 2 to 4+ years of hands-on manufacturing or industrial production experience.
• At least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role preferred.
• Proficiency with basic computer skills (MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Lead start-of-shift huddles to communicate daily goals, safety updates, and output targets.
• Assign workstations, manage shift crewing, and ensure proper staffing levels throughout the shift.
• Coach, mentor, and train new hires and existing team members on equipment operation and safety guidelines.
• Facilitate clear communication between incoming and outgoing shift teams during shift changes.
• Monitor line efficiency, track daily performance metrics, and record data regarding scrap or downtime.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives and basic root-cause problem solving.
