Job summary

Great Dane in the United States is seeking a Production Supervisor to direct trailer production activities across Axle, Start Line and Sidewall lines. You will ensure outputs meet the production schedule and match engineering drawings.

You will lead a team, plan staffing, implement lean practices, uphold safety, and coordinate with engineering and maintenance to resolve issues while maintaining the schedule.

Qualifications

• Education: High School or GED required.
• Team Leader experience or Team Leader Academy/college degree.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to read blueprints and customer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage trailer production activities to meet schedule and drawings.
• Ensure safety standards and compliance across the team.
• Plan staffing for the week and prepare lines for next shift; manage rework and defects with Lean Manufacturing.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate employees; handle timecards and attendance.
