Job summary

Andersen Corporation is seeking a Team Lead for a production department of 5-40 associates. You will direct daily work, coach employees, and drive improvements using AMS tools to meet SQDC metrics.

Responsibilities include training, resource planning, and ensuring safety and quality standards while coordinating with Tier 1 and Tier 2 teams. This role emphasizes leadership, communication, and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience in manufacturing operations.
• Lean training or certification preferred.
• Knowledge of operations products, processes and equipment including safety, quality, and changeover.
• Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, train, and motivate employees.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; proactive learner.

Responsibilities

• Ensure continuous production flow to meet planned output while following safety, quality, delivery, cost, and maintenance standards.
• Provide coaching and training; maintain cross-training matrix and move employees to meet business needs.
• Lead AMS projects and maintain visual management tools to drive improvement and engagement.
• Communicate effectively in daily Tier-1 meetings and resolve conflicts as needed.
• Support other production areas, including project support and cycle counting tasks.
• Complete standard work and audits; drive corrective actions from MCA process.
• Enforce safety procedures and address safety concerns proactively.
