Job description

1st shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00 am to 6:00 pm

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Lead associate is responsible for supervising the line and reading production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be gathered and distributed for production according to quality standards and procedures.

1. Establish priorities, provide direction, assign tasks, coordinate, and support the team to ensure productivity and foster initiative.
2. Maintain high-level quality control within the department.
3. Determine work assignments and equipment needs based on work orders and/or oral instructions.
4. Complete daily logs.
5. Wear the proper PPE.
6. Maintain working knowledge of warehouse functions and operations.
7. Follow directions and multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment without supervision.
8. Weekend work may be required to meet business needs.

Qualifications

1. Ability to walk, stand, and climb for 12 hours.
2. Strong computer skills, including Excel and Word.
3. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly, above shoulder height and below waist.
4. Frequently bend, squat, climb, kneel, twist, push/pull, and reach overhead.
5. Use hands frequently for grasping, fine manipulation, and push/pull activities.
6. Commit to working safely at all times.
7. Prioritize producing a quality product.
