Job summary
Healthbay IT Production Support Specialist maintains and supports live production systems and applications, ensuring business-critical environments run with minimal downtime and rapid incident resolution.
The role collaborates with DevOps and development teams, troubleshooting across Linux/Windows, databases, and networks, and contributing to monitoring, logging, and documentation to improve system stability and performance.
Qualifications
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS).
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Nagios, Datadog.
- Understanding of databases and SQL queries.
- Scripting experience (Shell, Python, PowerShell).
- Familiarity with ITIL processes (incident, problem, change management).
- Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field; certifications are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Monitor production systems, applications, and services.
- Respond to incidents, outages, and system alerts.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application, database, and infrastructure issues.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring problems.
- Support deployments, releases, and system changes.
- Work with developers and DevOps teams to fix bugs.
- Maintain logs, dashboards, and system documentation.
- Ensure system stability, uptime, and performance.
