Job summary

You will coordinate with engineering, safety, HR, and project management to align with business goals. The role requires overseeing scheduling, material planning, continuous improvement efforts, and talent development on the shop floor, with close collaboration across departments to uphold

Qualifications

• Hands-on welding and fabrication knowledge (SAW, MIG, TIG).
• Experience managing schedules, materials, and personnel in a production environment.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of welders, fitters, fabricators, painters, and helpers.
• Serve as the main contact for production personnel and resolve issues.
• Conduct mid-year and year-end performance evaluations.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and orientation with HR.
• Track and submit weekly timesheets for direct hires and contractors.
• Develop daily job priorities and manage materials to maintain flow.
• Coordinate with night shift supervisor for alignment of shift activities.
• Schedule key production processes (e.g., PWHT) and delivery dates.
