Job summary

This role reports to a Production Manager II or Area Manager and may involve working with hazardous waste, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Key duties include enforcing process controls, planning shift operations, maintaining housekeeping, and driving continuous improvement while managing staffing and budget targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years' experience in related production operations
• Ability to facilitate team problem solving and communicate effectively (oral and written)
• May require annual hazardous waste training and handling hazardous waste as needed

Responsibilities

• Supervise hourly employees in safe manufacture of products and meet quality and productivity targets
• Adhere to process control procedures, instructions, and quality control guidelines
• Plan, organize, and supervise shift operations to align with production schedules
• Ensure safety, housekeeping, and compliance with company policies and government regulations
• Develop and train staff, conduct performance feedback, and support grievances resolution
• Hire qualified candidates and ensure equipment and supplies are available to complete tasks
