Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC) seeks a supervisor to lead hourly production teams in Portland, ensuring safe, quality manufacturing aligned with schedules and budgets.

You will train staff, address grievances, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining safety, housekeeping, and effective communication with management and peers. The role requires a background in manufacturing operations, strong problem solving, and basic CAD/scheduling tool use.

Qualifications

• Two to five years' experience in production operations with teamwork and communication skills.
• Education in engineering or business preferred; PCC certificate program is a plus.
• Ability to use CAD and scheduling software; proficient with databases and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Supervise shift operations to meet production schedules and supervisor guidance.
• Ensure quality, safety, and cost controls with minimal scrap or rework.
• Train and develop employees; conduct performance reviews and hiring decisions.
• Maintain safe work environment and enforce company safety policy.
