Job summary

Amcor is seeking a safety-focused production supervisor to lead safety activities, risk assessments, and incident investigations in our Oregon facility. You will oversee daily production, ensure quality and housekeeping, and manage staff performance and training during probation.

This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to lead safety meetings, and a commitment to company safety policies and EEO guidelines.

Qualifications

• Safety leadership experience or credentials preferred
• Experience leading risk assessment activities and safety investigations
• Ability to conduct incident investigations and corrective actions
• Strong communication and training facilitation skills

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of all employees under their supervision and communicate safety expectations clearly.
• Lead and participate in safety meetings and change management communications.
• Investigate and respond to line/equipment stoppages due to safety risk; drive preventive actions.
• Oversee production workflow, quality, and housekeeping of the production area.
• Train new employees and manage performance during probation; issue counseling as needed.
• Review hours worked for accuracy and authorize time cards.
