Job summary

Amcor LLC is seeking a production-focused leader to manage all plant production activities and safety, ensuring schedules align with customer requirements and cost targets. You will direct production processes, supervise supervisors, and drive training to maintain a skilled team.

The role emphasizes safety, continuous improvement, and efficiency gains, with a backup role to the Plant Director/Manager and involvement in Amcor Performance System initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Technical or related field.
• 5 years of manufacturing and supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs.

Responsibilities

• Review and maintain production orders and schedules to plan facility operations.
• Direct and coordinate production processes to achieve goals and optimize performance.
• Directly supervise and train production supervisors and staff to ensure competency.
• Oversee shift production activities to ensure safety, quality, and compliance.
• Champion continuous improvement projects and reduce scrap; drive efficiency.
• Coordinate Amcor Performance System, 5S, and daily management activities.
