Qualifications

• High School Diploma, some college level courses preferred.
• Minimum five (5) years manufacturing experience, minimum two (2) years prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Roofing mill experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises personnel and on-shift activities to meet production standards and safety constraints.
• Assigns workload, checks progress and quality, and assists employees daily.
• Ensures proper job sequence, setup, time cards, and material storage.
• Investigates production variability and coordinates maintenance as needed.
• Coordinates with related departments and enforces quality control procedures.
• Manages manpower and machinery utilization and training.
• Maintains housekeeping and safe work practices.
• Prepares production reports and records; suggests production improvements.
• Assists with inventory and handles employee grievances with Superintendent/HR as needed.
